Don't Let Holy Week Pass You By

The week before Easter is often the busiest time for church, and I don’t want it to pass me by without taking the time to reflect.
I love living in the tension between liturgy and freedom of form, tradition and new, alternative ideas. I believe that tension allows us to connect with history while also giving us the room to evolve where God is taking us.
With that said, Holy Week is traditionally a special time in the church where we focus in on the last week of Jesus’ time on Earth, the cross, and the resurrection. We should be Easter people every day, but so often we let life distract us.
Let us turn our attention and hearts to Jesus this week.
