Building Bridges: Cross-Cultural Training

Join us for this fantastic cross-cultural training event on Saturday, August 26!

• We will learn to build trust in cross-cultural relationships that leads to speaking truth in love and understanding other cultures.

• We will discover how to build Bridges and reduce Barriers, getting to know the people in the room and the people we are reaching out to in the field.

• And we will explore “The What of Missions: Effective Evangelism for Personal Missions”

SCHEDULE:

• 10:15 am: Arrive

• 10:30 am – 12:30 pm: Morning Session // Training

• 12:30 pm: Lunch (provided by us!)

• 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm: Afternoon Session // Travel to Duke Gardens to meet with international folks

• We will be meeting with people from the Muslim community when we are at Duke Gardens. Out of respect for the Muslim culture, please do not wear shorts or tank tops. Thanks!

*Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP to admin@waypointrdu.com by August 19, so that we make sure to have enough food!

**Childcare will be provided during the morning session. If you need childcare, please RSVP to admin@waypointrdu.com with your children’s names and ages.

***Children are welcome to come along to Duke Gardens for the afternoon session.
