Women's Mission Trip - Pico Escondido, DR

Hola Waypoint Women!

Would you like to go on mission with other Waypoint women this summer (early to mid August)?

If so, please ponder this exciting mission opportunity. We are considering traveling to the Dominican Republic to serve at Young Life’s adventure camp, Pico Escondido.

We will enjoy time with the youth of the DR on their last day of summer camp and then spend one day helping the staff clean up and prepare for fall.

After this, we will be hosting 20 Dominican women on Young Life staff for a 2.5 day retreat of refreshment in the Lord. These women work hard all year serving the youth of the DR and we hope to offer them a relaxing and rejuvenating retreat in a beautiful mountain setting.

We will work together this spring and summer to prepare the materials and activities for the retreat with the help of young Christian women from Meredith College. After the retreat, we will enjoy a day of rest and then travel home.

The cost for the trip will be between $1600 per person, to include room, board and travel.
