WAYPOINT KIDS ASSISTANT

Payton is a Durham native who first came to Waypoint as a member of the youth in 2014. Since then, she has enjoyed serving in the children's ministry, choir, and on the worship team. 

Payton has been working in childcare since 2017, and has been teaching at Waypoint Preschool since 2020. She is passionate about connecting with children of all abilities, and using a relationship-based approach to teach children about God's love.

In her free time, Payton enjoys baking, paddle boarding at Jordan lake, and hanging out at home with her chihuahua, Mowgli.
