PASTORAL INTERN

Justin was born and raised in northern California as a pastor's kid. He began attending Waypoint in 2024 and became a member that year as well. 

 

Justin is currently an MDiv student at Southeastern Seminary up in Wake Forest. Prior to seminary and pursuing pastoral ministry, he was a PhD student at The Ohio State University. In undergrad, he fell in love with philosophy and wanted to become a philosophy professor.  But it was during his time as a PhD student that the calling to pastoral ministry became stronger and clearer. He left the PhD program, started seminary and came to Waypoint. 

 

He enjoys eating good food, cooking, watching sports, running, and swimming. If you do too, let him know!
