COLLEGE DIRECTOR

Zane and his wife Kara have been attending Waypoint Church since 2024 and became members in January of 2026. They have two daughters Nora and Sophie.

He received his bachelor’s degree in history, with a specific concentration in religious and biblical history, from James Madison University in 2013. Zane has also attended Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary while working full-time with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. Zane has been with InterVarsity since 2013 and is currently senior campus staff at UNC where he has served since 2018. Zane serves as the director of college ministry for Waypoint and is specifically interested in helping the congregation embrace and invest in students while empowering students to belong and invest in the church!

Zane enjoys spending time with his family and has fully embraced the girl dad life. He also enjoys running, watching sports and all things Disney!
