Outdoor Worship Service
Sunday, August 23
Back Parking Lot
As we continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, we would like to offer you the opportunity to worship together with your fellow believers at an outdoor worship service on Sunday morning August 23rd. We know many of us miss this time together and are eager to gather together. We will hold an outdoor Sunday morning service in the back parking lot from 9:00-10:00 a.m.
This earlier outdoor service on August 23rd will not replace our regularly scheduled 10:30 a.m. livestream service but is meant to provide the option of worshipping together in person for those who feel comfortable doing so.
We ask that out of respect for others, all persons attending the outdoor service will adhere to the following social distancing guidelines:
We strongly encourage wearing masks. When you are socializing before and after the service, we ask that you wear a mask. When you are sitting down you may choose to take your mask off. We will have masks available for anyone who needs one.
We will be following a very similar model as the recent Men’s and Women’s worship nights for this outdoor service by strongly encouraging families to sit six feet apart from other families or individuals and asking that each person brings his or her own chair. We will have some chairs available for use as well.
This 9:00 a.m. service will be a “condensed service” meaning that it will consist of a shorter worship set but still have the same sermon as the 10:30 a.m. livestream service. If you plan to attend the outdoor service, we ask that you arrive early (before 9:00 a.m.) since we will be starting the service promptly at 9 and are hoping to avoid the distraction of cars pulling in after worship has started.
As we work through these unprecedented times, we appreciate your commitment as a body of believers to “encourage one another and build each other up,” (1 Thessalonians 5:11).
We look forward to continuing to worship together virtually every Sunday and are excited about the opportunity to worship together in person soon.
