Cross-Cultural Christmas Caroling
“Sing to him, sing praises to him; tell of all his wondrous works!” Psalms 105:2
Where: DUKE MANOR (DM): 311 South Lasalle Street, Durham, NC 27705
When: Thursday, December 12 from 6:30PM - 8:30PM
What: Going Christmas caroling and bringing cookies to our international friends.
How: We are going to meet together at the apartment complex by the office then go Christmas caroling to our international friends apartments and give them a plate filled with a dozen of cookies and a candy cane with the story of Jesus' birth from Luke and Matthew in multiple languages.
Why: As we celebrate Jesus’ birth we are to make him known among the nations. Christmas season is a great opportunity to share Christ’s love and make the story of Christmas known to our unbelieving friends in their own language.
Ways you can help: There are several ways in which you can be a part of spreading the Gospel in this event:
Go Christmas Caroling.
Play an instrument.
What to wear: If you have a red top and black pants to wear that would be great. If you don’t, you are welcome to wear whatever looks Christmasy.
Please RSVP if you're planning to join us.
