Reach Durham. Reach the Nations.

First, I want to say thank you for taking the time to hear about my vision and dream to plant a gospel-centered church that is radically intentional about ministering to the nations in Durham, NC.

Consistently ranked in the top ten most desirable places to live in the U.S., Raleigh-Durham (RDU) is one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in the nation. Over the past decade, the population has almost doubled in size and has become a major hub for education and business.

RDU is home to 15 major colleges and universities that bring in the best and brightest students from all over the globe. The Research Triangle Park (RTP) hosts over 170 global companies, making it the largest research park in the nation and attracting skilled workers from all over the world.

A report from the Brookings Institute ranked Durham as the metro area with the third highest demand for H1-B visas (issued to skilled immigrant workers) in the entire nation. The top employers for these visa holders were medical centers, universities, and tech companies.

These unique circumstances lead us to our belief that by reaching Durham we can reach the nations. The people in closed countries that were inaccessible are now our neighbors.

Being from an immigrant family, I have experienced first-hand the struggle of finding my own cultural identity. It was in finding out that my citizenship was in heaven that I discovered my true identity was in Christ. It is my desire to awaken people to their true identity that is found in the gospel. We, as Christians, are all aliens and foreigners in this world and have been called by God to be His ambassadors.

Our desire is to spread the gospel to the nations by reaching the nations right here in our community. We wish to raise disciples of Christ who are not solely identified by their ethnicity, but instead are bound by the common goal of seeing worshippers from every tribe, tongue, and nation.

What would it look like if Sunday morning was not the most segregated time of the week? What would it look like to see believers from every tribe, tongue, and nation worshipping together? What would it look like to uphold kingdom values above cultural values?

Join us in the adventure God is calling us to.
